About the event
The concept of a communion meal originates from Luke 22, where Jesus shares His final meal with His disciples and draws a connection between the bread and His body, as well as the wine and His blood. He instructs us to remember the most significant event in history through this meal, telling the disciples to "do this in remembrance of Him." Taking inspiration from this example, we realized that simply consuming a cracker and some juice was not sufficient to remeber Jesus' sacrifice. This practice is not a secondary aspect of faith but rather one of the few acts that Jesus Himself instructed believers to regularly practice. Paul further elaborates on this in 1 Corinthians 11:17-24, where he admonishes the Corinthians for not approaching communion with the proper reverence for Jesus' sacrifice. With all of that in mind, we created a monthly celebration where believers can participate in a meal centered around communion. Everyone who calls Jesus their Lord and Savior are welcome to join us each month.
